punish me daddy by jeannatejenn25

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls leads a Rakdos pain-punisher build that converts every opponent life loss into cards and a growing evasive threat. The primary plan is to establish a low-cost punishment engine (Bloodchief Ascension, Black Vise, Scrawling Crawler, Underworld Dreams), land Valgavoth on turn four, then drown the table in incremental drain while finding one of the deck's two-card loops. The main kill lines are Exquisite Blood + Enduring Tenacity, which turns any life loss into an infinite drain loop, and Bloodchief Ascension + Mindcrank, which mills each opponent out once the quest is online. A robust complement of tax permanents and damage multipliers gives the deck multiple routes to close, even if the commander is repeatedly handled.
