Deck overview

This is an Orzhov Angel aristocrats and mass-reanimation deck helmed by Shilgengar, Sire of Famine. The core loop sacrifices Angels (and other creatures) to the commander for Blood tokens-Angels refund Blood equal to their toughness-then pays six Blood plus hybrid mana to return every creature card from the graveyard to the battlefield as Vampires. Supporting engines include Angel tribal lords and anthems (Giada, Font of Hope, Lyra Dawnbringer, Righteous Valkyrie, Sephara, Sky's Blade), life-gain drain (Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Bishop of Wings), edict stax (Grave Pact, Rampage of the Valkyries), and classic reanimation tutors (Buried Alive, Entomb, Reanimate). Secondary paths are raw combat with indestructible flyers (Avacyn, Angel of Hope) and the Gisela, the Broken Blade/Bruna, the Fading Light meld. The deck wins by flooding the board from the graveyard and either swinging in the air or draining the table.
