Deck overview

Vadrik, Astral Archmage reduces the cost of the deck's large instant and sorcery package after its power increases through day/night changes. The intended plan is to develop lands and mana rocks, deploy Vadrik, Astral Archmage, add Storm-Kiln Artist, and then use draw, Treasure, and graveyard-recursion spells to create a large storm turn. Bonus Round, Past in Flames, and Mizzix's Mastery can amplify that turn, with Grapeshot or Haze of Rage as potential payoffs. In practice, the deck has limited tutor coverage, little early acceleration, and no compact two-card win. Its counters provide useful interaction, but holding them up slows the same expensive setup they protect. The deck can generate explosive finite turns, yet ordinary execution does not reliably assemble a three-player kill or a total lockout.
