Deck overview

Led by Denzilore Fatehold, this Azorius deck blends flash tempo, scry and surveil cantrip velocity, and +1/+1 counter scaling into an aggressive evasive clock backed by high-tier control. The deck's primary game plan establishes an early evasive creature base using efficient utility fliers and token generators like Hermes, Overseer of Elpis and Proctor of Potential. By flashing in Denzilore on an opponent's end step, the deck seamlessly transitions into its engine without exposing its commander at sorcery speed. Chaining cheap scry and surveil triggers—from cantrips such as Preordain and Opt to artifacts like Sensei's Divining Top—rapidly grows the team into a lethal aerial strike force. Meanwhile, a dense suite of free and efficient counterspells, proactive stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate and Teferi, Time Raveler, and phasing protection such as Clever Concealment and Teferi's Protection suppress opposing interaction and board wipes, while an Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal combo provides a potent infinite mana and card-draw backup.
