Format: Commander

Commander: Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Vial Smasher the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis "copy the commander" burn deck built around the Partner pairing of Vial Smasher the Fierce and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces. The core plan is to create multiple non-legendary copies of Vial Smasher, then cast high-mana-value spells so every copy deals damage equal to the spell's mana value. Damage multipliers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Fiery Emancipation turn those triggers into lethal bursts. Because Sakashima removes the legend rule, clone effects like Spark Double, Stunt Double, and kicked Rite of Replication can stack multiple Vial Smasher triggers. The deck also carries a compact infinite kill with Niv-Mizzet, Parun plus Curiosity or Ophidian Eye. It plays a draw-go style game, holding instants for opponents' turns so Vial Smasher can trigger on every turn of the rotation.
