Deck overview

Captain America, First Avenger leads a potent Jeskai Voltron and Equipment control strategy. The deck focuses on accelerating its mana on early turns, casting Captain America, and attaching massive armaments such as Colossus Hammer and Excalibur, Sword of Eden for free at the start of combat via his Catch trigger. This rapid deployment generates a fast lethal commander damage clock. Backing up this offensive core is an exceptionally deep instant-speed interaction package headlined by Swords to Plowshares, Force of Will, and a tutor-ready Sunforger toolbox. To keep its commander on the battlefield, the deck runs top-tier protection options like Flawless Maneuver, Teferi's Protection, and Dawn's Truce. Secondary win conditions include mass damage via Chandra's Ignition and an infinite colorless mana combo using Basalt Monolith and Zirda, the Dawnwaker, which allows Captain America to throw equipment infinitely to eliminate the entire table on the spot.
