Deck overview

The Scarab God leads a Dimir Zombie swarm deck that wins by combining battlefield pressure with repeatable life loss. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap Zombies, token makers, and amass engines, then let The Scarab God's upkeep trigger shrink all opponents while lords and menace effects push combat damage. A strong secondary line uses Rooftop Storm plus Gravecrawler and Grimgrin as a sacrifice/untap loop, with Plague Belcher converting each death into table-wide drain. The commander is also a resilient recursion engine: it reenters after death and can exile any creature from a graveyard to create a 4/4 Zombie copy, giving the deck reach in longer games. No hidden commander is present; Grimgrin is an enabler, not the build-around.
