Deck overview

Kamiz, Obscura Oculus is an Esper combat-damage deck that weaponizes the attack step: each combat, Kamiz makes one attacker unblockable and connive (draw + discard + grow), then grants double strike to a lesser-power attacker. The deck is packed with "whenever deals combat damage" payoffs - Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, Augury Adept, Dimir Cutpurse - turning every connect into card advantage. The primary kill is the half-life package: Unstoppable Slasher, Grievous Wound, and Quietus Spike, doubled by Kamiz's double strike to shred life totals, with Phage the Untouchable as a one-shot unblockable finisher. A reanimation subtheme (Sun Titan, Sevinne's Reclamation, Victimize, Oskar, Rubbish Reclaimer) and monarch cards (Archon of Coronation, Court of Ardenvale, Keeper of Keys) provide resilience and card flow. The deck wins through incremental combat inevitability rather than combos.
