Format: Commander

Commander: Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The deck is a Food/lifegain value engine helmed by the Frodo/Sam partner pair. Sam generates a Food every combat and discounts Food activations; Frodo turns early lifegain into Ring temptation and card draw. The main plan is to stockpile Food tokens, turn life gain into drain with Sanguine Bond, Gollum, Obsessed Stalker, and Mirkwood Bats, and close with huge Feasting Hobbit or Banquet Guests. Frodo, Sauron's Bane is a hidden commander/alt-win, while Bilbo tutors after you reach 111 life. No infinite combo is present; games are won through a critical mass of lifegain and one explosive drain turn.
