Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Black Zombie tribal and aristocrats strategy led by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan develops early ramp and recursive Zombie creatures, deploys Gisa on curve, and converts single high-power creatures into wide armies of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Anthem lords such as Undead Warchief, Death Baron, and Lord of the Accursed grant power buffs, menace, and deathtouch to turn these tokens into a lethal combat clock by turn 6. Complementing the swarm attack is a suite of aristocrat payoffs like Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, which drain opponents whenever tokens enter or die. While the deck lacks fast tutors and stack interaction, its dense card draw engines and deep graveyard recursion provide consistent recovery against sweepers and single-target removal across casual multiplayer tables.
