Deck overview

Borborygmos and Fblthp leads a high-power Temur lands strategy that converts rapid mana ramp and graveyard land recursion into overwhelming board states and lethal burn. The deck operates by developing its mana base through exploration effects, land multipliers, and fetchland recursion engines like Crucible of Worlds, Wrenn and Six, and Icetill Explorer. Borborygmos and Fblthp provides steady card velocity and targeted creature suppression by discarding excess lands. The game transitions toward decisive win conditions on Turns 5–6 via Scapeshift, Field of the Dead, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, Titania, Protector of Argoth, and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, swarming the table with lethal creature tokens or chaining additional combat phases. A lean, modern interaction suite featuring Force of Will, Force of Vigor, Deflecting Swat, and Sylvan Safekeeper protects key engines and disrupts opposing wins while advancing its own land-based resource advantage.
