Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant is a Sultai Elf/Faerie value engine that plays a hybrid of elfball and top-deck theft. The game plan is to deploy a critical mass of cheap Elves, use Maralen's enters trigger to exile the top two cards of an opponent's library, then convert that exiled pool into a free spell once the Elf/Faerie count is high enough. A dense mana-dork package - Elvish Mystic, Llanowar Elves, Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid - lands Maralen early and enables chaining multiple Elves in one turn. Cast-trigger draw engines like Beast Whisperer and Leaf-Crowned Visionary keep the chain going, while Intruder Alarm untaps every Elf on each entry so Lathril, Blade of the Elves can repeatedly drain the table. The deck also packs a compact Laboratory Maniac kill via Demonic Consultation / Divining Witch and one-sided tribal wipes to clear blockers. It is a critical-mass combo-aggro deck with strong card flow and multiple independent win channels.
