Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis control deck pairs Vial Smasher the Fierce with Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to convert everyday spellcasting into lethal burn. Sakashima enters as a second copy of Vial Smasher, bypassing the legend rule to double every damage trigger. By playing high-mana-value instants, delve cards, and flash threats on each opponent turn, you repeatedly bombard enemy life totals while controlling the board. Standalone bombs like Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, The Scarab God, and Hullbreaker Horror generate overwhelming board presence, while extra-turn spells and a massive Torment of Hailfire close out stalled games with decisive, unanswerable finishes.
