Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck is helmed by Vivi Ornitier, turning every noncreature spell into table-wide burn and scaling power. The deck accelerates in the early turns with low-cost mana rocks and spell cost reducers like Stormcatch Mentor and Geist of Saint Thalia. Once Vivi enters the battlefield, cheap cantrips and interaction rapidly place +1/+1 counters on Vivi, pinging each opponent simultaneously. Vivi's {0} activation then converts accumulated power into a substantial burst of red and blue mana, enabling extended storm turns. Payoffs such as Veyran, Voice of Duality, Harmonic Prodigy, and Curiosity compound trigger output into massive card velocity and life total erosion. While the deck possesses a compact infinite win condition in Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind and Curiosity, its primary path to victory is burning down the entire table through high-velocity spell chains and a catastrophic Crackle with Power.
