Staxos by CalamityMDM

Format: Commander

Commander: Daxos the Returned

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Enchantress-token deck built around Daxos the Returned. Daxos accrues experience counters from each enchantment cast and converts them into Spirit enchantment tokens; then Hallowed Haunting and Sigil of the Empty Throne turn those same casts into large Spirit/Angel boards. Constellation payoffs (Grim Guardian, Thoughtrender Lamia, Doomwake Giant) drain, discard, and shrink opponents while stax pieces (Eidolon of Rhetoric, Stony Silence, Ghostly Prison) buy time. An Opalescence/Starfield of Nyx line animates enchantments and combines with Parallax Wave for an infinite flicker loop with Grim Guardian or Doomwake Giant. Katilda, Dawnhart Martyr // Katilda's Rising Dawn acts as a hidden commander, scaling with the enchantment/Spirit count and providing a resilient beatdown face.
