Deck overview

This Temur deck leverages Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk as a compact powerhouse that pivots from early setup into a lethal combat engine. Bruce Banner enters on turn 1 and serves as an early mana sink or unassuming commander while you ramp towards six mana. Once transformed into The Incredible Hulk, his Enrage trigger generates additional combat phases and +1/+1 counters whenever he takes damage while attacking. Cards like Caltrops turn this mechanic into a self-contained infinite combat loop, while Xenagos, God of Revels, Anzrag, the Quake-Mole, and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar ensure that ordinary attacks deal lethal commander and trample damage in short order. Heavy reactive protection shields the commander during his critical windows, and backup lines like Basalt Monolith combos ensure the deck can close games if combat stalls.
