Temur: Dragon by user7166895

Format: Commander

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ureni of the Unwritten is a Temur dragon-cheat deck. The primary plan is to ramp to six mana, cast Ureni, and use its enter/attack trigger to put a Dragon directly from the top eight onto the battlefield. Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm duplicates every nontoken Dragon, and finishers like Atarka, World Render, Terror of Mount Velus, and Fiery Emancipation multiply combat damage into a lethal swing. Secondary paths hard-cast dragons off Old Gnawbone or Goldspan Dragon treasures, or use Tooth and Nail and Shared Summons as tutors. Ureni is the engine, but the 99 can still play a fair dragon curve without it. There is no double-faced commander; Miirym is the closest hidden commander in the 99.
