Be Kind to Otters 🦦 by Dalquize

Format: Commander

Commander: Alania, Divergent Storm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet spell-copy deck uses Alania, Divergent Storm to turn every first instant, sorcery, and Otter each turn into two spells by letting an opponent draw a card. You chain cantrips, rituals, and draw spells to build storm count, then amplify copies with Thousand-Year Storm, Twinning Staff, and Primal Wellspring while Storm-Kiln Artist makes Treasures and Archmage Emeritus refills your hand. Alania is a value and copy engine, not a combo piece. Thousand-Year Storm acts as hidden commander as the main payoff. Secondary wins come from Crackle with Power for lethal damage, Coruscation Mage pings, or Ral, Crackling Wit's storm emblem and Mizzix's Mastery overload.
