Ardbert, warrior aggro by pepe2pepe2

Format: Commander

Commander: Ardbert, Warrior of Darkness

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Orzhov legendary-tribal deck helmed by Ardbert, Warrior of Darkness, built around flooding the board with legendary creatures and turning them into an overwhelming combat army. The commander turns every white and black spell into a team-wide +1/+1 counter, granting vigilance or menace along the way. The deck's primary path to victory is combat: assemble a critical mass of legends, pump them with anthems like Flowering of the White Tree, Heroes' Podium, and Arvad the Cursed, then finish with double strike from Akroma's Will or War of the Last Alliance. There are no infinite combos; instead, the deck relies on massive board presence, one-sided wipes, and a deep recursion package to grind out wins. The commander is a powerful buff engine, but the 99 is a self-contained legendary goodstuff pile that can function without him.
