Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Equipment Voltron and board-control deck helmed by Captain America, First Avenger. The primary game plan utilizes Captain America's Catch ability to bypass high equip costs at combat, rapidly suiting him up with potent weapons such as Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor, Genji Glove, and Captain America's Shield. Once equipped, the commander applies lethal commander damage pressure while utilizing his Throw ability as repeatable, instant-speed removal against opposing utility creatures and blockers. A dense suite of low-cost tutors and card-draw engines like Puresteel Paladin and Sram, Senior Edificer keeps the deck fueled, while protective spells and Equipment like Conqueror's Flail and Flawless Maneuver shield the commander during combat rotations. Alternate legendary threats ensure the deck maintains high offensive pressure even if the commander is removed.
