Deck overview

This deck is a Simic midrange engine centered around The Astonishing Ant-Man, converting card draw into +1/+1 counters and detaching them to create a wide army of 1/1 Insect creature tokens. It features dense mana acceleration, cantrips, and potent card advantage engines like Skullclamp, Terrasymbiosis, and Curiosity Crafter to consistently fuel Ant-Man's growth. Counter enhancers such as Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Doubling Season, and The Earth Crystal rapidly accelerate token output. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 5 using massive board modifiers like Unnatural Growth, Bristly Bill, Spine Sower, or an asymmetric sweeper in Wave Goodbye. A solid interactive suite of low-cost counterspells, Force of Vigor, and Mutational Advantage protects the board while disrupting pivotal opposing plays. Without relying on infinite combos or hard locks, the deck closes out multiplayer tables through resilient, compounding combat pressure and overwhelming token velocity.
