Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Red Spellslinger build commanded by The Scarlet Witch. The commander reduces the generic mana cost of instant and sorcery spells with mana value 4 or greater by an amount equal to her power. The strategy uses cheap pump spells like Monstrous Rage, Brute Force, and Smaug's Fury to rapidly inflate her power. This lets you cast expensive draw and ramp spells like Inspired Tinkering, Big Score, and Brass's Bounty for just 1 or 2 red mana. Chaining these discounted spells triggers damage from creatures such as Firebrand Archer, Coruscation Mage, Urabrask, and Longshot, Rebel Bowman. The deck builds toward a massive storm turn around Turn 5, sweeping the table with noncombat damage triggers, Past in Flames recursion, or a lethal Crackle with Power.
