Gandalf (red/blue/white) by DSIMMONS70

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf of the Secret Fire

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gandalf of the Secret Fire helms a spell-slinging storm/value deck that exploits his suspend trigger to turn opponent-turn instants and sorceries into free future spells. The primary plan is to build storm count with cheap cantrips and magecraft payoffs, using Valley Floodcaller to flash sorceries, then finish with Grapeshot, Brain Freeze, or a pumped token army from Haze of Rage. Secondary lines include infinite Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame tokens and a Thousand-Year Storm copy engine. Gandalf serves as a repeatable recursion/value engine and incidental combo amplifier, not as the sole win condition, letting the deck keep attacking on several fronts.
