Deck overview

This deck is a political Group Hug and Control strategy helmed by Sokrates, Athenian Teacher. It manipulates table dynamics by distributing extra cards through symmetrical draw engines like Howling Mine, Kwain, Itinerant Meddler, and Kami of the Crescent Moon, while using Sokrates's combat prevention ability and defensive tools like The Second Doctor and Riot Control to deter aggression. The deck breaks parity through asymmetrical payoffs such as The Council of Four, The Unagi of Kyoshi Island, and Wedding Ring, converting opponents' extra draws into massive card advantage and board presence. Win conditions center on weaponizing extreme card volume through Forced Fruition, mass mill via Folio of Fancies, self-decking with Laboratory Maniac, or crashing in with hand-size-scaling beaters like Soramaro, First to Dream and Dream Trawler. Efficient countermagic and protection spells safeguard the setup until the table is overwhelmed.
