Deck overview

This is a five-color Assassin tribal deck helmed by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, built around two synergies: freerunning every Assassin spell for {B}{B} after any combat damage, and Ezio's life-total-kill trigger. The plan is to deploy cheap Assassins early, connect once to unlock the discount, then use life-setter effects - Sorin Markov, Unstoppable Slasher, Virtus the Veiled, and Tree of Perdition - to drop an opponent to 10 or less and finish with Ezio's pay-{W}{U}{B}{R}{G} trigger. Morophon, the Boundless acts as a hidden commander, turning every Assassin into a WUBRG-castable threat and making the five-color payment trivial. Backup wins include Ramses, Assassin Lord's "you win the game" clause, drain/beatdown pressure from Sheoldred, the Apocalypse and Vein Ripper, and Aetherflux Reservoir life-total sniping. A dense instant-speed protection and counterspell suite keeps the critical Ezio connect protected.
