Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir control and aristocrats strategy commanded by Vren, the Relentless. It operates by turning opponent creature deaths into exile, completely shutting down opposing graveyard synergies while creating scaling Relentless Rat tokens at each end step. The deck pairs symmetric edicts like Fleshbag Marauder and Sheoldred's Edict with flash enablers like Leyline of Anticipation and High Fae Trickster to trigger Vren during opponents' turns. Cheap counterspells and protection spells like Not Dead After All defend the board, while engines like Kindred Discovery, Talion, the Kindly Lord, and Idol of Oblivion keep resources flowing. Opponents are starved of creature presence while your Rat tokens grow exponentially, closing out the game through massive combat damage.
