Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai midrange-control list helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking. The plan is to develop Elf dorks and extra land drops, play a dense instant-speed interaction suite, and close through fair combat. Thranduil is a 5/6 who inherits every activated ability of Elves in your graveyard - becoming a Priest of Titania or Woodland Weavemaster once those cards die - and who loots whenever another legendary Elf enters. That second clause is thin: the only legendary Elf in the 99 is Thranduil, Sindarin Liege. The real engines are landfall value (Tatyova, Benthic Druid, the other Thranduil's tokens, Down in the Valley) and a draw-go pile of counters and spot removal. There are no infinite combos and no mass-pump finishers; the deck wins by attacking with Pathmaker, Beorn, tokens, and the commander. It is a reactive, mid-to-late-game value deck, not a combo or aggro list.
