Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Sultai clone-multiplier strategy helmed by Uugguu, the Omniplasm. The primary game plan leverages Uugguu's triggered ability: whenever a nontoken Ooze dies, Uugguu creates two nonlegendary 2/2 token copies of it. By casting Shapeshifters and clones to enter as copies of Uugguu, the legend rule immediately sends the nontoken clone to the graveyard as a state-based action. This triggers Uugguu to create two token copies. Each subsequent clone or reanimation spell triggers every existing Uugguu on the battlefield, causing the board to scale exponentially from 3 to 9, 27, and 81 Oozes. The deck capitalizes on this wide creature base through powerful Convoke draw and removal spells like Harmonized Crescendo, Transcendent Message, and Lethal Scheme, which can be cast for free by tapping summoning-sick tokens. The strategy closes games via massive combat alpha strikes, boosted by Naga Fleshcrafter and Mirrorform, while relying on 18 cheap reanimation spells for engine resilience.
