This Orzhov deck leverages Squall, SeeD Mercenary to turn combat steps into massive reanimation engines. When Squall attacks alone, his Rough Divide ability gives him double strike. Dealing combat damage across both first-strike and regular damage steps triggers his second ability twice, returning two permanents with mana value 3 or less from the graveyard to the battlefield every turn. The deck exploits this by stocking the graveyard early using dredge cards and self-mill enablers like Stitcher's Supplier and Stinkweed Imp. Once active, Squall loops disruptive sacrifice creatures like Plaguecrafter and discard pieces like Burglar Rat to starve opponents of resources while repeatedly reanimating protective pieces like Selfless Spirit.
