Deck overview

Mono-black combo-aristocrats built around the transform commander Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER / Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The front face is the engine: its optional ETB and attack sacrifices convert spare bodies into cards, and each other-creature death drains an opponent for 1 life - four deaths in a turn flips him into a 5/5 flying closer that grants a table-wide drain emblem and draws a card per additional sacrifice on attack. The 99 feeds that plan with a dense shell of cheap recursive threats (Gravecrawler, Nether Traitor, Reassembling Skeleton, Bloodghast, Forsaken Miner) and free sacrifice outlets (Viscera Seer, Phyrexian Altar, Warren Soultrader), with Pitiless Plunderer turning deaths into mana. Wins are infinite sacrifice loops drained through Sephiroth or Vengeful Bloodwitch, protected by the Grave Pact/Dictate of Erebos control axis and assembled by a deep tutor suite. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built squarely around Sephiroth while the 99's redundancy keeps it functional if he is answered.
