Deck overview

This Esper artifact deck leverages the token-generating and menace-granting capabilities of Urza, Chief Artificer alongside an unconventional, highly consistent core of 17 copies of Cid, Timeless Artificer. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with artifact rocks and low-cost artifact creatures to reduce Urza's affinity casting cost. Once Urza is deployed, the deck rapidly amasses 0/0 Karnstructs that scale with total artifact count. The 17 Cids provide extreme functional redundancy: early copies cycle away to draw cards and fill the graveyard, while later copies provide massive static +1/+1 buffs to the entire artifact army. High-synergy artifact engines including Thopter Foundry with Sword of the Meek, The Reality Chip, and Organic Extinction provide backup combo potential, card advantage, and asymmetric board wipes, allowing the deck to close games swiftly through unblockable or menace combat.
