Commander: Lord Windgrace

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Jund lands-matter deck helmed by Lord Windgrace, built to ramp aggressively, chain extra land drops, sacrifice lands for value, and recur them en masse. The engine is landfall: every land entering triggers a constellation of payoffs - Omnath, Locus of Rage and Scute Swarm build boards, Ob Nixilis, the Fallen, Tannuk, Memorial Ensign, and Sabotender drain life, and Nissa, Resurgent Animist and Lotus Cobra generate mana. The deck's biggest blowouts are mass-recursion spells like Splendid Reclamation and Aftermath Analyst that return a graveyard full of sacrificed lands and fire every landfall trigger at once. Wins come through incremental drain, token swarms, and big-mana payoffs like Exsanguinate and Genesis Wave. Lord Windgrace provides card flow and repeatable land recursion, but the deck is packed with redundant recursion so it never hinges on him alone.
