Rakdos by Calois

Format: Commander

Commander: Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin commands a Rakdos group-slug and impulse-advantage engine. The primary plan establishes steady pingers that deal exactly one damage to opponents, such as Spear Spewer, Creeping Bloodsucker, and Pyrohemia. Each trigger places a counter on Ob Nixilis and exiles the top card of the library to play, turning small instances of chip damage into overwhelming card advantage and a massive flying trampler. The deck wins by eliminating opponents with commander damage, burning the entire table with repetitive damage triggers, or locking the board with forced combat and goad spells like Disrupt Decorum and Kardur, Doomscourge to let opponents dismantle each other.
