Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Black Reanimator Combo build that leverages fast artifact mana, dark rituals, and an extensive tutor suite to execute compact, game-ending combos. While Mikaeus, the Unhallowed provides an undying backup loop in the command zone alongside Walking Ballista and a sacrifice outlet, the primary game plan centers on assembling a rapid win via Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog or reanimating Hoarding Broodlord into a Saw in Half sequence. Acceleration from cards like Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, and Culling the Weak allows the deck to operate multiple turns ahead of ordinary pacing. Massive card engines including Necropotence and The One Ring ensure consistent resource flow, while asymmetric disruption pieces like Opposition Agent, Dauthi Voidwalker, and Orcish Bowmasters punish opposing fetchlands, draw engines, and graveyards to clear a path for a Turn 4 victory.
