Deck overview

This deck is a focused mono-green stompy list piloted by Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana during the early turns to cast Goreclaw ahead of curve, usually on turn 3. Once Goreclaw is active, the deck cheats mana costs by reducing the casting cost of creatures with power 4 or greater by {2}, rapidly flooding the board with massive threats such as Elder Gargaroth, Defiler of Vigor, and Ghalta, Primal Hunger. Goreclaw also serves as a combat enabler, granting +1/+1 and trample to attacking big creatures. Card velocity is sustained through power-triggered card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Garruk's Packleader. While the deck excels at generating overwhelming creature combat presence that closes games by turn 7, it is vulnerable to sweepers and lacks meaningful reactive interaction to stop fast opposing combo decks.
