Manifestation of Dread by ossan420

Format: Commander

Commander: Zimone, Mystery Unraveler

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Simic manifest dread + landfall value deck helmed by Zimone, Mystery Unraveler. The primary plan is to chain extra land drops to trigger landfall repeatedly: the first landfall each turn manifests dread (creating a face-down 2/2), and subsequent landfalls flip a face-down permanent face up. The deck packs a dense land-search ramp package (Cultivate, Three Visits, Rampant Growth, Farseek, Explosive Vegetation, Sakura-Tribe Elder) plus extra-land effects (Exploration, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, Wayward Swordtooth, Case of the Locked Hothouse, Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait) to fuel the engine. Landfall payoffs like Tatyova, Benthic Druid, Scute Swarm, and Retreat to Coralhelm generate cards and board presence. The deck wins through combat, flipping big trampling threats like Thunderfoot Baloth, Hydra Omnivore, Worldspine Wurm, Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar, and Ashaya, Soul of the Wild to close games. It is a midrange value deck with a slow but powerful clock.
