Commander: Gandalf, Goblins' Bane // Flameshape

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-red spellslinger burn deck. Gandalf, Goblins' Bane is the command-zone damage engine: every noncreature spell makes him bigger and pings each opponent. The Flameshape adventure adds card selection when a Wizard is in play, but the deck is built around the creature face. The core is redundant trigger permanents-Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, Erebor Flamesmith, Coruscation Mage, Thunderdrum Soloist, and Fiery Inscription-combined with cheap cantrips and looting spells. Torbran and Harmonic Prodigy multiply damage, while Glamdring, Bulk Up, and Fling turn a large Gandalf into a one-shot removal or finishing blow. It can goldfish around turn seven and is resilient to losing individual pieces.
