Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive yet controlling Orzhov Aura strategy led by Killian, Decisive Mentor. It uses cheap enchantments to neutralize opposing blockers and incite infighting through goad triggers, while drawing cards whenever enchanted creatures attack. The deck quickly ramps into its commander and supporting draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer, transforming small creatures into massive, evasive threats using All That Glitters, Ethereal Armor, and Angelic Destiny. Concurrently, defensive enchantments like Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety, and Eriette of the Charmed Apple protect the pilot's life total and drain opponents over time. A robust suite of tutors ensures reliable access to crucial utility, while asymmetric sweepers such as Winds of Rath and mass recursion spells like Mantle of the Ancients provide strong resilience against disruption. The deck closes games reliably around Turn 7 through focused commander damage and continuous life drain.
