Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos aristocrats and Treasure engine piloted by Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder. The strategy focuses on producing a steady stream of artifact and creature tokens through cards like Black Market Connections, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and Pitiless Plunderer. You feed these tokens into Evereth to grow its power and gain lifelink. As tokens and creatures enter the graveyard, payoffs such as Marionette Apprentice, Mayhem Devil, and Mirkwood Bats drain opponents' life totals. When Evereth reaches double-digit power, it threatens lethal aerial attacks or can be sacrificed to deal massive direct damage to all opponents simultaneously via its death trigger. Supported by efficient black reanimation spells, fast mana acceleration, and versatile spot removal, the deck maintains high resilience against attrition. While it lacks instant-speed commander growth and countermagic protection, its high density of interchangeable sacrifice outlets and drain payoffs allows it to reliably close games through sustained life drain.
