Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Selesnya aggro and heroic deck commanded by Storm, Windrider. The strategy leverages Storm's unique static ability: creatures with flying cannot attack you or block creatures you control, and any spell targeting a creature grants it flying until end of turn. By combining inexpensive 1-mana targeting cantrips and pump spells with heroic payoffs, the deck turns its attacking creatures into unblockable threats while turning opposing creatures into non-blockers. Silence effects from Jennifer Walters, Voice of Victory, and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar prevent opponents from interrupting combat tricks on your turn. Card draw engines like Season of Growth and Toski, Bearer of Secrets keep resources flowing as Storm, Windrider rapidly eliminates opponents with unblockable commander damage.
