Deck overview

This Rakdos deck pairs Ganax, Astral Hunter with Agent of the Iron Throne to create an aggressive Dragon tribal engine focused on Treasure generation, direct damage, and life drain. The primary plan accelerates into Ganax on Turn 3 or 4, turning every subsequent Dragon into additional mana. On Turn 5, the deck deploys game-ending burn engines like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, or Dragon Tempest, or damage multipliers such as Fiery Emancipation. These pieces turn normal Dragon casts into overwhelming volleys of direct damage to opposing life totals. A powerful suite of black tutors ensures dependable access to key combo pieces and finishers, while highly efficient removal like Fire Covenant, Deadly Rollick, and Deflecting Swat protects the board. Although vulnerable to mass sweepers and lacking stack counterplay against non-creature combos, the deck delivers rapid, evasive combat and direct burn capable of closing the game on Turn 6.
