Deck overview

This is an Orzhov aristocrats deck centered on Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher. Carmen rewards every sacrifice with a counter and life, then returns a permanent from the graveyard whenever she attacks. The main plan is to establish Carmen, a sacrifice outlet, disposable creatures, and a useful graveyard target. The strongest supported engine is an attack that returns Grave Pact, followed by repeated sacrifice of Ophiomancer tokens or other fodder. This can steadily remove opposing creatures while growing Carmen and producing death-trigger value from cards such as Blood Artist, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Fumulus, the Infestation. The deck has solid removal and several protection effects, but limited tutoring makes its multi-card setup inconsistent. Its ordinary plan creates pressure around turn 8 and oppressive creature attrition around turn 9, but it does not reliably convert that advantage into a three-player kill or total lockout.
