Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis Wheels and Group Slug deck commanded by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The core game plan revolves around turning symmetric card draw into asymmetric table-wide life drain. By assembling passive draw-damage permanents such as Nekusar, the Mindrazer, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, and Fate Unraveler, the deck weaponizes mass discard-and-draw spells like Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, Dark Deal, and Whispering Madness. A single wheel inflicts 7 to 14+ damage per opponent while simultaneously fueling mana engines like Waste Not to chain into consecutive wheels for same-turn or next-turn table kills. High-tier interaction including Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Force of Negation protects critical spells, while an alternate infinite combo in Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank provides clean non-combat inevitability.
