Deck overview

This Selesnya deck is led by Kudo, King Among Bears, a commander that sets all other creatures to base power and toughness 2/2 and gives them the Bear creature type. The deck leverages this ability by flooding the board with low-cost mana dorks and token producers, then stacking static +1/+1 anthem effects such as Anthem of Champions, Glorious Anthem, and Collective Blessing. Because Kudo sets base stats to 2/2, every anthem immediately gives your army a combat advantage over opposing creatures that were shrunk down. High-impact singletons like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite create a complete one-sided creature wipe, while Reverence prevents opponents from attacking you entirely. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide combat swings backed by overrun finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth and Unnatural Growth.
