Deck overview

This deck is a Naya aggro-midrange strategy commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender, focused on turning lands and nontoken artifacts into resilient, aggressive attackers through the earthbend mechanic. The primary game plan accelerates mana in the early turns, casts Toph on Turn 4 to begin animating lands at each end step, and stacks +1/+1 counters onto those lands. Because earthbent lands return to the battlefield tapped whenever they die or are exiled, the deck possesses exceptional natural insulation against board wipes and creature removal. It leverages asymmetric sweepers like Hour of Revelation and Planar Outburst, which destroy nonland permanents while leaving your animated lands and artifacts intact. The deck transitions into a lethal win condition around Turn 6 using explosive combat enablers such as Bumi, Unleashed, Toph, Greatest Earthbender, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum to overpower opponents across sequential attack phases.
