Grumpywolf's Sephiroth by JinwooXome

Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats combo deck leverages Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER to grind card advantage and bleed opponents before transforming into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel for an unremovable death-drain emblem. The primary game plan revolves around assembling infinite sacrifice and drain loops using recursive creatures like Forsaken Miner and Gravecrawler alongside free sacrifice engines such as Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader. Secondary lines capitalize on Bolas's Citadel paired with Sensei's Divining Top or Mortuary to cast through the library directly into lethal life drain. The deck controls the board through symmetric sacrifice effects while assembling high-redundancy combo finishers.
