Commander: Marvo, Deep Operative

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Marvo, Deep Operative is a top-deck cheat deck: the deck sets up a high-mana-value card on top, attacks with Marvo, wins a clash, and then casts an 8-MV spell from hand for free. The primary plan is to control the top of the library with scry, surveil, Sensei's Divining Top, Scroll Rack, and Soothsaying, then use Marvo to chain free spells like Aminatou's Augury, Bolas's Citadel, and Ancient Silver Dragon. Secondary paths are hard-casting big threats and reanimating them with Reanimate, Virtue of Persistence, and Charnel Serenade. Hullbreaker Horror is the hidden commander: it controls the board and, with Sol Ring, can generate infinite mana. The deck is a slow, value-driven engine that wins through overwhelming board presence and life-loss attacks.
