Commander: Raffine, Scheming Seer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is an Esper "draw-and-discard matters" midrange deck built around Raffine, Scheming Seer. The plan is deceptively simple: assemble a wide board of small attackers, connect with Raffine to trigger a massive connive, and convert every draw and discard into tokens, lifedrain, and growing bodies. The discard payoffs - Drake Haven, Faith of the Devoted, Feast of Sanity, Archfiend of Ifnir, and Cryptcaller Chariot - feed on Raffine's forced discards, while the "draw your second card" engines (Ethereal Investigator, Homunculus Horde, Mischievous Mystic, Thopter Fabricator, Emrakul's Messenger) turn every extra card into board presence. Teferi's Ageless Insight and Vnwxt, Verbose Host double the flow, and Queza, Augur of Agonies plus Psychosis Crawler convert all that drawing into life loss. The deck wins by grinding incremental advantage into an overwhelming, evasive army, closed out by Knowledge Is Power, Herald of Secret Streams, or a huge Chasm Skulker death trigger. Shorikai, Genesis Engine functions as a secret second Raffine.
