Deck overview

This deck is a midrange token and lifegain strategy commanded by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The game plan focuses on deploying early ramp to cast Trostani ahead of curve, followed by high-impact token creators such as Crested Sunmare, Phyrexian Processor, Gruff Triplets, and Ghalta and Mavren. Trostani converts the toughness of entering creatures into substantial life buffers while populating massive token copies each turn cycle. The deck leverages this life accumulation into game-ending combat power using scaling team buffs like Archangel of Thune, Nykthos Paragon, and Blossoming Bogbeast, or direct damage through Aetherflux Reservoir. Defensive tools like Grand Crescendo and Rootborn Defenses shield the wide board against destruction, while versatile Selesnya removal keeps key opposing threats in check. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through overwhelming trampling damage across consecutive combat phases.
