Deck overview

This deck is a Boros graveyard-midrange strategy commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser. The core game plan revolves around repeatedly triggering Quintorius's passive ability by moving cards out of the graveyard through flashback, unearth, reanimation, and exile-on-discard mechanics. Each instance creates a 3/2 Spirit creature token, rapidly assembling a wide board presence. Card velocity is fueled by Quintorius's +1 loyalty looting ability alongside discard-friendly engines like Squee, Goblin Nabob, Containment Construct, and Currency Converter. Once a critical mass of Spirits is established, the deck pivots into an aggressive win condition using Quintorius's -4 loyalty ability to grant double strike and vigilance, or resolving game-ending team buffs like Moonshaker Cavalry and Balefire Liege. Supported by robust white recursion staples like Sun Titan and Sevinne's Reclamation, the deck maintains steady pressure while recovering smoothly from opposing removal.
